I don't do so well with the meaningless writing describing some event that has nothing to do with the topic at hand (at least in my mind). I have read both "Not A Fan" and "AHA" by Kyle Idleman (both of which are very good), but I must say I believe "The End of Me" is Idleman's best so far.I don’t really know where to start with a review for this book... but this was my second attempt, not because the book was bad, but perhaps because the topic is hard; dying to self is never going to be a fave!! I will most likely not read another book of Idleman's again.

There’s nothing obsolete in Hayes’s writing. Temptation (New York Review Classics) I loved this read and came away convicted and encouraged, truly wanting to come to the end of myself so I can lean into Christ. James is 17 and is pretty sure he is a psychopath. To new believers and old ones alike, this book is certainly worth the read (It gave me goosebumps once or twice) and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get closer to the Lord.
