Gimmick characters tend to get old (for the player most of all) after a handful of sessions, in my experience, and I think you would quickly regret picking such a misfitting, weak race 'because it seemed funny'.I don't know how bad Kobolds are, as I only loosely remember their profile, but if their stat bonuses don't line up and they have sunlight sensitivity, and not much else going for them, that's pretty much as weak as you can get.I don't think they're funny, I just legitimately want to play as a kobold because I think they're really cool creatures. personally dex is better then strength any ways, also a bard isn't usually the strong one of the group.
