The first two were undoubtedly incredibly flavourful- the Pho Boy had fried shrimp in a herb batter with a mildly tangy sauce a top- delicious! And Mahas mind blowing chicken was indeed mind blowing! Coffee is a quick run to the counter!!! The food speaks for itself, it looks, smells, and tastes delicious! Their cardamom latte is a new level of happy for me though! After we finally made it inside we waited about 20 minutes to order. Chef Platter was amazing. Definitely dress warm if you're going in the winter as you'll likely have to wait outside! It's for people who are willing to pay extra $6 for just the tasting experience for each entre that they have not tried before or can't get it somewhere else. i don't usually like the spice/herb on its own because it's so strong, but it was the perfect amount and balance very nicely with honey. It's a really cute place to visit with delicious fresh homemade food that warms your heart but be ready to wait ahead at times and be patient. They serve Middle Eastern brunch style food. My friends and I visited a week after they reopened following their renovations. Can't forget the honey-cardamom latte which is aromatic and not too sweet, and my husband had the hazelnut latte that was a little sweet but he thought it complimented his meal perfectly. I went to Maha's on Saturday morning. I was looking forward to checking this place out. I had what can only be described as an Egyptian scotch egg. Had some of the best falafel ever here. Got The Max (falafel wrap) and it was soooo good. Local, authentic, heartwarming, family owned, hidden gem! We started with the babaganu and dip.
