(2)(a) A seller of cable service may assess a late fee on delinquent subscriber accounts held by the seller that have an unpaid balance of $10 or more.

(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, a fee, service charge or other consideration is excessive if the total amount charged is more than $100. (c) A statement, in precise terms, of payments reasonably within the ability of the client to pay. (b) Undertake investigations, including investigations outside of this state, that the director considers necessary to: (A) Determine whether a person has violated, is violating or is about to violate ORS 697.612 or 697.642 to 697.702 or any rule of the director adopted under ORS 697.632; or (B) Aid in the enforcement of ORS 697.612 and 697.642 to 697.702 and in the formulation of rules and forms under ORS 697.632. (c) The bond or an irrevocable letter of credit required by this subsection shall be continuously maintained in the amount required by this subsection.
