In the first year, our residents build a foundation of medical knowledge and clinical skills through a balance of emergency medicine experience and rotations on relevant specialty services at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC). The Department provides surgical services and training at the University of Vermont Health Network and is proud to be an integral part of this high quality, cost efficient health care center. Our clinical practice takes place at the University of Vermont Cancer Center outpatient clinics at The UVM Medical Center.
