Having stayed the week prior on Matamanoa Island, we were made well aware of the ‘Schoolies’ celebrations from there, hearing the music 5km away into the early hours of the morning. Snorkelling off the beach was easy to do and a snorkelling boat trip a little further out was well worth it for the additional coral, fish and turtles we saw! The staff at Mana resort must be commended, they are so kind and welcoming, we had no issues with food, towels or room service as previous posts alluded to and they made an extra effort with all the Christmas decorations and lights! The perfect combination of modern facilities with the traditional Fijian culture and friendliness.If there’s any way to forget about school, it’s by spending your time on an island surrounded by 7kms of soft golden sand.
