Shelters are also available at Hunters Ridge Pool and Gahanna Swimming Pool. These part-day enrichment experiences in our parks are designed to exercise young bodies and minds with games, relays, nature investigations and art projects. Changes to locations and content of these programs may still occur. The park has a restroom facility.Enjoy a fun play area right in your own neighborhood with slides going down a hill and then climb right back up! Bees, butterflies, beetles, bats, flies, hummingbirds and moths are all pollinators. With a limited number of carts, one may not be available for your tee time.Please clean trash out of your carts prior to returning them.Tee times are spaced out 10 minutes to accommodate an increase in walkers and to discourage stacking on tee boxes.Maintaining social distancing of no less than 6 feet for the duration of your time on the courseCourse is open 7–8 am ONLY for golfers 55+ Monday thru Friday. These trails are located in many public parks within Gahanna, and the vast majority are paved, conveniently located near parking lots, and are handicapped-accessible.The Gahanna Parks Team works continuously on projects to improve our parks.

The Big Walnut Trail winds its way through the park making an easy connection to Veterans Memorial Park and the Gahanna Swimming Pool to the south and the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course to the north.

Mature oak-hickory and beech-maple communities occur on the higher and drier areas of the preserve.Gahanna was declared the Herb Capital of Ohio by the state legislature in 1972.
